COMMUNITY IMPACT THROUGH A HAPPY LITTLE INSTRUMENT - 9 YEARS & Counting
Community Church Ukulele Ministry Combines Six Generations Sharing the Joy of Music
The Community Church ukulele ministry started in the summer of 2016 under the direction of Pastor Scooter Ward. The first Community Ukes performance was at Brookdale Destin on July 27, 2016. What began as a small group of players desiring to minister to our area senior living and memory care facilities, has blossomed into
TWO ukulele groups with a vibrant ministry to THREE area facilities.
This group has cycled over 200 different players spanning SIX Generations!

Parental support is expected for crowd control (rotational) and for transportation to performances.
Ukesters on break until August 2025.
However, advanced students will join Community Ukes during Summer months
